Cheddar Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 2 cups @bobsredmill pancake mix

  • ¾ cup shredded sharp @kraft.naturalcheese cheddar cheese

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • ½ cup @nutpods cold milk

  • 2 TB @greenvalleylf butter melted 

  • 4 tbsp @greenvalleylf cold butter, divided

  • 2 large eggs

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (200°C) 

  2. Combine initial ingredients: stir together the pancake mix, melted butter, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, milk, salt and pepper

  3. Whisk together the eggs in a separate bowl and combine with initial ingredients

  4. Cut 2 tablespoons of cold butter into the bowl of ingredients to form the dough 

  5. Cut the dough, roll into balls and drop onto the baking sheet (Tip: put a wet paper towel under the cutting board to help keep still and not slide around the counter.)

  6. Press the top of each biscuit and top with cheddar cheese 

  7. Bake for 11–13 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

  8. Finish and serve immediately

  9. Freeze extra dough in the freezer for easy grab-and-go for another time!
